How to Grow Your Own Tea Garden
Learn how to grow your own tea and herbs. Join us for this hands on workshop where you'll learn tips on choosing and growing herbs, and how to harvest and prepare herbs for your own tea. You'll be able to blend your own samples of teas and herbs at the end of the event.

SESSION 1: Foraging Your Own Backyard
Getting started with foraging is as easy as walking out your door and noticing the plants all around you. Learn to safely identify and forage some of the most common plants in the region, including edible “weeds,” berries, roots and flowers. This workshop will cover safety, ethical harvesting, resources for proper identification, as well as foraging tools, tips and storage suggestions. You will also learn how to use the foraged plants to make common herbal preparations, such as infusions, decoctions, poultices and oils.
SESSION 2: Growing a Healing Herbal Garden
Each of us has the power to create and tend to our own herbal garden to support us on our individual healing journeys. Learn how to plan, grow and harvest your own herb garden, no matter your skill level or amount of space. This workshop will introduce you to the beauty and power of growing herbs to support healthy skin, soothe digestive upset, balance your nervous system, support better sleep, and ease aches and minor pain. You will learn about popular and easy to grow herbs from several healing traditions, including Wise Woman, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Western herbalism.

Restore Balance Mini-Retreat
Come together in a beautiful setting to celebrate your resilience and practice restoring balance from the inside out.
This 1/2 day mini-retreat is designed to help you slow down, reconnect to your heart's intentions, and find connection to others in sacred ritual. We will begin with a cleansing ritual and calling in of the 4 directions.
I will then lead you through a shamanic cacao ceremony with music, gentle yoga and guided meditation. There will be time for reflection, integration and journaling.
Next we will learn about some of the local plants and how they can support you in bringing more harmony and balance into your daily life while enjoying healthy snacks and herbal tea.
This interactive herbalism workshop will give you hands-on experience with how to source, prepare and use these commonly available herbs.
Our herbal tea room and shop will also be open for browsing and shopping afterwards.
This retreat includes water, tea, cacao, snacks and a Mother Hive "swag bag" of goodies to take home!
Please bring: hat, sunscreen, chair/blanket/cushion, your own mug, journal & pen, eye pillow or scarf.
COVID precautions will be in place. Weather-permitting, we will be mostly be outside for this event. In the case of extreme inclement weather, we reserve the right to reschedule.

Triple Spiral Women’s Circle
In this weekly offering, Genessa will create a safe space for you to join in sisterhood with other women as we explore topics ranging from health and wellness, motherhood, shamanism, yoga, herbalism, divine feminine, spirituality and more. Each circle begins with opening sacred space followed by teachings on a theme. Circles often include readings, singing/chanting, gentle movement, and time for reflection and journaling.
